Art's Compass Points: Outdoor Recreation

Take Advantage of the Weather

One of Albuquerque’s best attributes is its outstanding climate. We have four distinct and beautiful seasons that are all relatively mild. For an outdoor enthusiast, that means there are about 350 days a year when you can get out and hike, ride and play. Albuquerque’s weather is consistently nice so you probably won’t need to bring a raincoat or an umbrella because if we have rain, it usually passes quickly. And when that brilliant sun comes out, the puddles dry up fast. So plan to spend as much time as possible outside when you’re in Albuquerque.
