Nob Hill, just east of the University of New Mexico, is a
funky neighborhood that lines a historic stretch of Route 66. Here neon signs
light nearly every façade and the shops all try to outdo each other with
colorful paint jobs and eye-popping window displays. You can find everything
from contemporary art to designer clothes to one-of-a-kind gifts at mostly
locally owned boutiques. And, you can always take a break for a cup of
locally-roasted coffee, a glass of New Mexico’s famous champagne, or a bowl of
house-made gelato in this very walkable neighborhood.
