Rio Rancho is a large suburban community that borders Albuquerque on the northwest. Rio Rancho is New Mexico’s fastest growing city, and the area is ripe with new development, affordable housing and many restaurants and stores. Rio Rancho is home to the brand-new Santa Ana Star Center, where the New Mexico Scorpions play ice hockey games; the arena also hosts major concerts and other events.
