Mr. Ashley is also the author of the popular "Photographing Albuquerque," a 76-page guidebook that takes the reader to the best photographic sights in and around Albuquerque and provides numerous tips on how to turn ordinary snapshots into compelling photographic images. The Rio Grande Arts and Crafts Festivals have become an Albuquerque and New Mexico Tradition for 21 years.

Held three times a year in March, October and December, these highly ranked juried shows feature the works of hundreds of the nations most outstanding artists and craftspeople, as well as artist's demonstrations, food and wine sampling, continuous entertainment and kid's activities.
