The Mariachi Spectacular's Mission is to Respect, Honor, Preserve and Promote Mariachi music and its rich cultural traditions. Ten thousand students and over 150,000 concert enthusiasts have participated in its history. It's one of the highest-rated Mariachi conferences in the Western Hemisphere. The educational conference is highlighted with events such as the Showcase and Spectacular Concerts. Enthusiasts from Albuquerque have been joined by visitors from over 30 states, and that number is rapidly growing as it has established itself as a national event, witnessed by its inclusion in Yahoo!
