The game will kickoff at 2:30 p.m., MT (4:30 ET) and will be televised nationally on ESPN. Once again, the New Mexico Bowl will feature a team from the Mountain West Conference against a team from the Western Athletic Conference this year featuring University of New Mexico vs. University of Nevada. Pontiac offers free game tickets Pontiac hopes to bring a host of fans to the game for free thanks to a "test drive for tickets" program. Pontiac, the official vehicle of New Mexico Bowl II, invites fans to stop by any of its nine Albuquerque area dealerships through December 21st, take a test drive of any Pontiac vehicle, and walk away with a pair of tickets (while supplies last) to New Mexico Bowl II.

HOLIDAY- River of Lights
Visitors can enjoy the magic of hundreds of thousands of twinkling lights and dazzling holiday displays at New Mexico’s largest walk-through light show. Each year's show unveils a number of ingenious new sculptures and stunning displays designed and constructed by Albuquerque BioPark artists and craftsmen. Closed on December 24th and 25th.

Description:
On December 14, 15, 16, 20, 21, 22 and 23 only, visitors may park at the Heritage Farm parking lot, and purchase tickets and enter River of Lights at the Cider Barn.
Visitors can enjoy live entertainment from a variety of local choirs, participate in holiday crafts programs, purchase hot food and beverages on site and find a unique holiday gift. River of Lights visitors may take buckboard rides at the Heritage Farm.
The G-scale model railroad at the Botanic Garden will operate from 6 to 9pm Wednesdays through Sundays through Dec. 30.
The Shark Reef Cafe will be open evenings from Dec. 10 though Dec. 23 and Dec. 26 through Dec. 30 for holiday dining. Call (505) 848-7182 for information or to make reservations for Supper with Santa at the Shark Reef Cafe. (For River of Lights event information, please call 764-6280.)
