Concert: Holiday Strings at San Felipe de Neri Church



ALBUQUERQUE, NM—In the tradition of offering free exceptional entertainment to visitors to Old Town, the City of Albuquerque’s Cultural Services Department is bringing some of our area’s most popular and talented classical musicians  to San Felipe de Neri Church for a live performance on Saturday, December 10th at 7 p.m.

San Felipe de Neri Church, considered the “heart of Old Town” and one of the City’s true historic treasures, is generously opening its doors to the public for this free concert.

A string quartet featuring Guillermo Figueroa and Valerie Turner on violin, Cherokee Randolph and viola and David Schepps on cello will perform light classical, popular and holiday music.

Guillermo Figueroa and a group of top professionals in Albuquerque and New Mexico have formed a new organization dedicated to artistic excellence and to “Redefining the musical experience for our times.” Figueroa, who performs nationally and internationally, has brought together this group of talented professionals to bring the best in chamber and orchestral performances to audiences.

Seating is limited, so those attending are encouraged to arrive early to secure their seats. The Church will be celebrating Mass at 5:30 p.m., and seating will be begin at approx. 6:30pm after Mass lets out.
