Exhibition: Seeds of Change-500 Years of Encounter & Exchange
Seeds of Change is a traveling exhibit developed by the National Museum of Natural History at the Smithsonian Institution. You are invited to participate in this unique learning experience that could change your perspective of the world in which we live. This exhibit examines the exchange of plants and seeds between the Old and New Worlds following Columbus's discovery of America in 1492. Themes include the introduction of horses, sugar, and disease to the New World and the introduction of potatoes and corn to the Old World.
