Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice created a new kind of Jesus, a prophet-rock star whose appeal stems as much from the crowd’s energy as from his own inspirational message. Featuring such notable songs as Superstar, Everything’s Alright and I Don’t Know How to Love Him, Jesus Christ Superstar has earned five Tony nominations.
