Southwest Gay and Lesbian Film Festival
The Southwest Gay & Lesbian Film Festival is one of New Mexico’s largest film festivals and one of the top GLBT film festivals in the Southwest. Now in its ninth year, the Albuquerque-based festival is dedicated to showcasing queer cinema in an attempt to highlight the richness of the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender experience. SWGLFF will be celebrating its sixth annual event this Fall.
In 2010, SWGLFF with an attendance of 4,000 becomes one of the top GLBT film festivals in the Southwest.
SWGLFF
will run for 7 days, October 7-13, screen over 80 features, shorts and
documentaries in 35 programs, and represent over 15 countries, while
hosting an array of guests and filmmakers - creating a truly regional
experience.
