Workshop: Aromatherapy for Mother's Day
Join Christa Obuchowski, certified aromatherapist and founder of the Aroma Botanica Institute in Sante Fe for a special Mothers' Day workshop. Students will create a custom perfume blend, using many different essential oils. 2012 was named "The year of the Rose", so during this class watch a steam distillation using fresh petals from our gardens. Kids - this is your chance to create something special for mom, so we hope you'll come too! Classes are held in the cozy Solarium in our 1930s Lord & Burnham Greenhouse.
