Albuquerque’s Latest Restaurant - LA OJA - Turns a New Leaf

Albuquerque, N.M., November 11, 2009 – LA OJA – New Mexi-Cali Flavor at the Doubletree Hotel – Albuquerque’s hottest new restaurant, celebrated their re-launch today with a well-attended kick-off party.

Joseph Chavez, Doubletree Hotel Operations Manager welcomed guests to the event. “We are very excited to launch the new restaurant, providing Albuquerque with an entirely new culinary experience.” A number of state dignitaries attended the event, including James B. Lewis, State Treasurer.

The restaurant, previously called Aqua Bloom, has been a lunch-time favorite among the downtown business crowd. With a menu revamp, name change, and entirely new culinary focus, La Oja has reemerged as a dinner hot-spot for downtown Albuquerque.

Executive Chef Alberto Mendez’ new menu blends robust New Mexican favorites with fresh California cuisine.
