Duke City BMX

This BMX racing track is one of the only covered BMX facilities in the world and hosts the American Bicycle Association Spring Nationals.

State Farm Soccer Complex – 22 fields!
Two lighted, championship fields highlight the complex. The facility has played host to the NAIA Men’s Soccer National Championships, the USYSA Far West Regionals in 2001, 2005, 2006, 2010, the AYSO National Games, the Sandia Cup and many other soccer tournaments. The complex also hosted the 2003 USA Track & Field Junior Olympics Cross Country National Championships.

GOLF Albuquerque Year-Round

Indoor Track & Field Facility at the Convention Center

Home of UNM’s Indoor Track & Field program, the facility features a 200-meter Mondo oval with 60-degree banked turns and six 36-inch lanes. The straight is a panel system Mondo surface with eight 42-inch lanes, which is also used for high jump. The pole vault, long jump and triple jump are on raised runways with Mondo surfacing. The throwing ring is a wooden surface. The Convention Center hosted the 1966 AAU Indoor Nationals and the 2010, 2011 USA Indoor Track & Field Championships and will host the 2012 USA Indoor Track & Field Championships.

Isotopes Park

Home of the AAA affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers and home to the All-American Baseball Game, a national event showcasing the best high school baseball players in the country. The Park hosted the 2007 AAA All Star Game which was televised nationally on the ESPN networks. The park seats 11,124 including suite seating. The venue is also home to UNM Lobo baseball.

Sandia Motor Speedway

UNM Baseball Lobo Field: This venue serves as the team’s primary practice facility which features SS Turf in the infield and seats 2,500. Additionally, the indoor Ambrose Alday Batting Complex is equipped with three cages, pitching machines, and video monitors.

 

UNM Softball Field: With seating capacity for 1,500, this natural grass playing surface is home to the UNM Lobos’ Softball program.

 

UNM Football Stadium: Complete with a state-of-the-art video board and scoreboard, the stadium seats 40,000 spectators for competitions on the natural grass field. University Stadium is home to the New Mexico Bowl, which pits a Mountain West Conference representative against a member of the Western Athletic Conference.

 

The World Famous Pit, University Arena, Basketball: Seats 17,000, hosted an NCAA Final Four and many rounds of the NCAA Men’s and Women’s basketball tournament. It is also home to one of the largest state high school basketball tournaments in the country, drawing crowds of more than 150,000 for the week-long event. Current renovations include concourse expansion, state-of-the-art locker room facilities, and the addition of 40 luxury suites and 300 club seats.

 

UNM Soccer and Track & Field Complex: seats 5,000 and has the ability to expand to seat more. The Soccer Complex features a Bermuda grass playing surface where several NCAA tournament games were contested. The Great Friends of UNM Track Stadium hosted the 2003 Mountain West Conference Outdoor Championships and serves as the longtime home of the Great Southwest Track & Field Classic.

 

UNM Tennis Complex: This dual indoor and outdoor facility has 13 courts available with seven lighted outdoor courts and two indoor tennis domes. The complex hosted conference and NCAA championship events with capacity for nearly 2,000 spectators.

 

UNM Johnson Center: Houses the campus intramural center and Recreation Services department. Johnson Center contains an aquatics center with an Olympic size pool and a main gymnasium and arena for basketball, wrestling and volleyball. An auxiliary gym has five courts for basketball, volleyball and a weight room, plus a low ropes course is available for team-building activities.
